# Snaply 0.1.51

2026-03-17•v0.1.51

## Highlights

### 1. Writing Assistant setup check

Snaply now checks if everything is properly set up on your machine. If something is missing, you will see a clear screen explaining what to do. It also checks if your machine has enough RAM (8GB+) to run local models.

### 2. Early email formatting support

Started adding support for a dedicated email formatting model. Still early, but it should improve how dictated emails are structured over time.

## Other Improvements

- Faster and more reliable overall experience thanks to internal cleanup.
- Smoother performance on Macbooks with less memory.
- Simpler and more focused settings.
- Cleaner app data storage behind the scenes.
- Added language detection for transcriptions.
